For years, Enel has implemented a Human Resources Management philosophy, one which is aimed at maximizing the potential of its people, in addition to developing both technical staff and future managers from within the Company.
So as to give greater importance to this philosophy, “Enel University” was established precisely for this purpose.
Enel University’s mission is to integrate recruiting, induction and professional development activities and processes. Enel maintains a particular focus on the younger bracket of employees, in order to guarantee skill diversity, from which to select, thus ensuring managerial development, company strategic objectives that are closely linked to internationalization, operating excellence and market orientation.
In reference to the selection process, Enel mainly hires recent graduates, so as to foster their professional development within the company. In addition, they receive training pertaining to diverse skills and professional aspirations, in both Italy and abroad.
The process of integrating new employees is carried-out by our Human Resources Department with great care and attention, by gradually exposing new-comers to the company, so as to expose them to Enel’s international perspective and experience, for the purpose of furthering their professional skills.
